Day 10: The Whisper of Shame
Revelation 12:10
"And I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, ‘Now the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brothers has been thrown down, who accuses them day and night before our God.’"
Shame is a subtle but destructive whisper—it tells us we're unworthy, unloved, and irredeemable. It doesn't just remind us of what we've done; it tries to redefine who we are. Revelation 12:10 names the enemy for who he is: the accuser, relentless in his attacks on our identity and standing before God. But the same verse declares his defeat. Jesus stands not as our accuser, but as our advocate. He took our shame to the cross and silenced it with His blood. In Him, we are not condemned—we are covered, cleansed, and called. Whether it's a past failure, a spoken word, or a hidden regret, Jesus invites you to bring it into His light. His truth is louder than the enemy’s lies.
Reflection: What accusation do you need to reject today?
5 minute of stillness complete
Prayer focus: Jesus, Let your truth silence every lie. In Christ, you are no longer defined by shame but by grace. Walk in that freedom.
