Day 16: The Power of a Yes

John 7:17
“Anyone who chooses to do the will of God will find out whether my teaching comes from God or whether I speak on my own.”

Clarity often comes after obedience, not before. God reveals more to those who are already willing to say “yes.” When your heart is postured in surrender, you're able to hear His voice more clearly—not because God speaks louder, but because you're listening with intention. Jesus taught that obedience opens the door to deeper understanding. Before God gives the next instruction, He often waits to see if we’ve made up our minds to trust Him regardless.

Reflection:
Is your “Yes” on the table even before He asks?

  • 5 minute of stillness complete

Prayer Focus:
I say yes to Your will, Lord. Even before I understand the full picture, I choose to follow You.
