Day 9: Faith Grows in the Dark
Scripture: Hebrews 11:1 - “Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.”
Faith does not need light to grow. It grows in trust. Dark seasons remove visual confirmation. That is where faith matures. When you can’t see outcomes, faith learns to rest in God’s character.
Not His explanations. Not His timing.
Darkness strips control. It forces dependence. Many people want faith that works when answers are clear. Scripture defines faith as confidence when they are not. God often withholds sight to deepen trust. Not to frustrate you. To strengthen you.
Ask yourself honestly: What am I demanding proof for right now? Faith does not deny reality. It anchors hope beyond it. Dark seasons teach you to walk by promise instead of pressure. By obedience instead of outcome. Faith that survives darkness stands firm in light.
Reflection: Where is God asking you to trust without clarity?
Prayer: God, strengthen my faith when I cannot see. Teach me to trust You fully. Anchor my confidence in who You are.
Practice:
Declare trust today without evidence.
Speak faith before results appear.
Faith is growing. Even in the dark.
